About AGL
We are AGL; a leading coaching and communication advisory company based in Central London.
At AGL we partner with organisations and individuals to provide communication and leadership coaching and training. We believe communication is the key to turning individuals into teams, effort into progress, and progress into success.
Organisations that master communication transform the way they inspire action, lead change, resolve conflict, and deliver better results. We pride ourselves on delving deep to embed clear, purposeful, and long-lasting communication into workplace culture. Working with senior leaders, future talent, boards, and public figures, we take time to understand their purpose, culture and ambition, then create pathways that build strong teams, drive change and deliver meaningful results.
From SMEs to PLCs, we engage across a wide range of businesses and individuals; a CFO outlining a strategic 10 year plan or coaching a new junior board member finding their voice, we cover it all. Our work is bespoke, impactful, and trusted by clients who expect the highest standards.
Founded fifteen years ago, we exist to bridge the gap between traditional communication training and authentic human connection.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a small, purpose-driven team at a pivotal time in our growth. You’ll work alongside our Client Director as her trusted counterpart, building and deepening client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring our delivery is consistently high-quality, accurate, and on time.
We are looking for an experienced, intelligent, and commercially aware professional who thrives on building trust with senior stakeholders, is comfortable in high-profile environments, and can adapt to shifting priorities while keeping standards high.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety; from client meetings to internal coordination, from strategic planning to detailed follow-up, and who takes pride in getting things right the first time.
Working in partnership with the Client Director and the wider AGL team, you will:
Identify, cultivate, and convert new client opportunities, driving revenue with a clear focus on commercial outcomes.
Support AGL’s growth by integrating sales and marketing activity into client development.
Strengthen and grow client relationships acting as a credible, trusted point of contact.
Oversee and coordinate client projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
Work closely with our delivery team to ensure a seamless experience for clients from first contact to follow-up.
Represent AGL at client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
Contribute to business development processes, from initial targeting through to proposal creation and follow-up.
Ensure that every interaction reflects AGL’s values; Ambitious, Collaborative, Kind and Going Above and Beyond.
Please note that this is not a coaching role, but a client facing, commercial development position focused on sales, marketing, and relationship building.
Success Markers
Within your first 180 days, you will have built trusted relationships with key clients, demonstrated the ability to generate new revenue opportunities, and successfully created and supported at least one new business proposal through to delivery.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:
Collaborative and team oriented, able to contribute to collective goals in all aspects of this role. Not suited to those that wish to work in silos.
Intelligent and commercially astute, able to adapt to different client needs and priorities.
Commercially minded and proactive in finding new areas of business, with the networking skills and emotional intelligence to turn conversations into opportunities.
A natural relationship creator and builder; credible, personable, and trusted by clients.
Proactive and organised, with meticulous attention to detail.
Flexible and solutions-focused, able to pivot quickly when priorities change.
Highly professional and discreet, with a strong sense of integrity.
Experienced in professional services, business advisory, communications, or client development.
Comfortable in both strategic discussions and hands-on delivery.
Why AGL?
At AGL, you’ll join a small, ambitious, and collaborative team that works closely with some of the most interesting leaders and organisations in the UK and internationally.
We pride ourselves on high standards, a warm and human approach, and work that makes a measurable difference. Our clients trust us because we combine insight, creativity, and authenticity and we want you to help us deliver on that promise.
